So we finally decided to make it official. We a
re having a baby! Erin is in her second trimester and everything seems to be going well with the baby. We had the opportunity to hear the baby's heart beat this past week. It was a really great experience. It still does not seem real, but we just can't wait to have our baby.We have been waiting for the first trimester to go by before telling everyone. According to our calculations our new baby should be arriving around October 18, 2008.
We don't really care if it's a boy or a girl, although we both think that our first might be a girl. We have no evidence that this would be the case, but it is really fun thinking about it. I think it would be easier to have a boy first, and then a little girl, but then again, I have never had a baby so I have no idea.
Above are two pictures of us when we were babies. Erin and I have been wondering who the baby will look like, and how dark or light she or he will be. I guess time will say, but we are pretty sure that we'll have a brown baby... or so Erin hopes :)

Congratulations!!!! Even though this is not "news" to me, it feels like the first rush of excitement! You will have a beautiful baby, and I'm so happy for you! Love, Mom/Grandma

Felicidades!! I'm so x-ited for my BLONDE MEXICAN BABY.....He is going to be hermoso! Don't worry Erin Gabe was born blonde too, now look at him. Dayana wants a girl, and I do think it's time for somebody to take her place as our baby girl.....lol! Well whoever comes out sure will be loved!
