Welcome June!

We have a new lady in the family - our niece and cousin June Olivia Barber was born April 9th. My sister worked very hard to bring this little girl into the world and we're so happy she's here. She's beautiful and has LOTS of red hair. We're very excited to meet her. Congratulations Lindsay and Mark! We love all 3 of you.

Tasty Fresh Snow

Not much to say at the moment, just wanted to post a picture of Gabriel enjoying the snow. We are very happy that the snow seems to be taking a seasonal vacation from Provo...hopefully :)

Blowing Raspberries

Gabriel likes to blow raspberries on us. You have to be careful if you bend over and any skin is exposed. He'll run over and blow on your backside!

What We Have Been Doing....

I guess he's basically a full blown toddler now! The days of dirty tops of socks and crawling is over and he is a WALKER now! Though many parents say walking is not something to look forward to, I have been and I LOVE it. He sort of waddles when he walks and it's so fun to watch.

We went to the BYU vs. Airforce game. It was freezing, with a little wind, which = TOO COLD TO BE OUTSIDE! So needless to say we didn't stay for the whole game. We actaully didn't even stay for half of the game. But it was still fun.

I love his sleepy, puffy eyes look in this one... This is his new little pony that sings from Abuelita. She spoiled him for his birthday.

He borrowed this t shirt from our 12 year old friend, Annie. It says "I traded my boyfriend for a puppy." He got wet and needed something to go home in.

Exploring all the nooks and crannies in the house is a daily activity of choice.

We had such a fun Halloween. This is an important day to me because it is my FAVORITE holiday. I don't exactly know why, but I LOVE Halloween. I think I have since I was really little. So of course I wanted Gabriel to be a part of everything that Halloween is even though he gets none of it:) And of course Gabe and I had to dress up. You decide what we are... Some people thought we were dogs and some thought we were bears...

We started the night out by trick-or-treating upstairs at our landlord's. We love them. They are so good to us. They took our family picture for us.

Then we headed down to Becca's house. Here she is with Gabriel. He loves her.

Becca took us to a friend's house so we could play with their 7 little, adorable puppies. He was squealing with delight the whole time!

We had a great night, topped off with 50 cent corndogs at Sonic! Happy Halloween! Hope yours was fun too!

Some Fall Pictures

I love Fall! These were taken right before his birthday party at the park just down the street from our house. It's a great park and it looks beautiful right now with all the fall leaves. He LOVES playing outside and we like going down to the park to explore. He's just so fun to spend the day with!

Happy Birthday Little Gabriel

Happy Birthday to our little boy. He has grown so much, and everyday shows us something new. He was born October 21st 2008. We now share our anniversary with him and will forever. We are thankful for his love and spirit, and are grateful to have him with us.

Thanks to our friends Becca and Gordon for letting us use their home to get together and

celebrate. Also thanks to everyone else for your love and support of Gabriel.

The morning began with breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes and milk to celebrate. After some running around and a bit of playing, we were ready to keep on going.

But not before a well needed nap!

After our nap, we were off to Gabriel's favorite restaurant Cafe Rio.

He loves it, and so do we.

After that we were off to the grocery store where Gabriel practiced his driving skills.

After our adventure at the store, we decided to go to the park and hang out and take some pictures. It was a little cold, but Gabriel did not mind it.

Once Gabriel was done with the park it was time to go to Becca's and celebrate with the family and have some cake.

And then we got ready to get messy

We had a great time together. Gabriel ate more cake then he should, but oh well.
